Results of the Wednesday morning walk at St. Peter's Cemetery, Lewiston
This
mornings walk at St. Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston was most
enjoyable with
great birds. With bright sun and no rain, that in itself
made the day. We
started in the far back of the upper new section with
many birds singing,
then walked along the road next to the power line
brush with many more birds,
and then beside the small pond with a nice
male Wood Duck and a male Belted
Kingfisher. We ended by walking the
dirt road from the back corner through
a small forest to the middle of
the power lines and found Towhee and Baltimore
Orioles. Nine people
enjoyed the trip.
