Marie Angelique Hannis b. abt 1752, m. Pierre Joseph Obomsawine. J. Henesse (possibly the Jean Baptiste given later) appears on the Odanak roster of 1812 veterans with heirs in 1844. Jean Hannis (possibly the same name) is listed as chief in 1868.
Louis & Eleazar 'Lazare' (also given as Cesar) Hannis appear in census records from 1829-52.
Jean Baptiste Hannis m. a Thomas/Tamakwa woman who is believed to be an Algonquin. He appears in Odanak census 1841-52 and may also be the person listed at Three Rivers in 1841. [NL 98]
At least two Hannis use the given name Cesar, which may actually be Eleasar/Lazare. [NL 98]
