- Other Notes: Cesar was a guide in 1786. Capt. Cezar deeded land in 1796. Cezard is listed as grand chief in 1800. P.N. Ceasar appears on the Odanak roster of 1812 veterans with heirs in 1844.
He might be Cesar who m. Cecile Taksus and had dau. Ursule Wawa. Ursule was believed to be part Algonquin. There may also be a link to the Hannis family, as there were at least 2 in that family that used the given name Cesar. A final possibility is that Cesar is a variation of the Lazare name. [NL 98]
Cezarie Pooler of Farmington, ME might be a female descendant of this family but more research is needed [NL 97].

There appears to be two Cajiais orphans living with Charles Chouaganne abt 1829. [NL 98]
