The Begin Library will be closed on all holidays that fall on a Wednesday or a Saturday and will also be closed on the Saturdays or Wednesdays preceding a holiday.

April 11, 2009. Saturday before Easter. Closed
May 23, 2009, Saturday. Saturday before Memorial Day. Closed
July 4, 2009, Saturday. Closed
September 5, 2009, Saturday before Labor Day. Closed
November 11, 2009, Wednesday, Veterans Day. Closed
December 26, 2009, Saturday after Christmas. Closed
January 2, 2010, day after New Years. Closed
Stormy Weather Policy
When there is a snow storm with accumulations of snow or ice that can lead to hazardous driving for librarians and members, the Begin Library will be closed.
On Saturdays the parking lot is likely not to have been plowed. Be aware of this problem.
When members question if the storm is effecting their area and not the Lewiston-Auburn area, it is recommended that they call the Begin Library at Tel. (207) 786-3327. If there is no answer, the Library is closed.
